Go Ahead And Roll Down Your Windows. Cults' "Make Time" Is Your New Summer Jam

It’s almost that time of year again and Cults have released the season’s first summer soundtrack staple. Bike riding, skinny dipping, splitting a Cherry Coke--basically pretending you’re living inside some mid-‘90s Promise Ring deep cut--the season for kissy-faced too good to be true summer romance is upon us. Several rounds of exploratory heavy petting influenced by sunburns and sand crabs will inevitably be scored with the NYC duo’s new non-LP track “Make Time,” just released on iTunes and streaming at PMA. Just like Best Coast did for 2010, Cults bring easy breezy lo-fi pop goodness that will instantly transport you to that Fish Under the Sea dance you’ve always imagined.

Cults are currently inspiring the first yelps of puppy love all over the U.K. and will be touring the U.S. and Canada in June and July. Their new self-titled album produced by Shane Stoneback (Vampire Weekend, Sleigh Bells) comes out June 7th.
