Nick Gazin's Photos Of Girls At Shows - Volume 12

There's nothing wrong with enjoying having your photo taken. And there's nothing wrong with enjoying taking photos.

Dear Noisey Lookers,

This week, I went to a Natural Child show and a couple of people approached me. They asked me if I was Nick Gazin and they knew me specifically from doing this column. The people who asked me weren't girls, but I photographed them anyway since they gave me positive attention and I wanted to give them some in return.

At Hotel Chantelle the next day, while photographing a party, I had trouble photographing a girl I knew. She'd posed for photos the previous week, but this time, she hid behind her hair or turned around when I pointed my camera at her. When I asked what was up, she let me know that she'd read last week's Photos of Girls column. I'd written about how some girls love being photographed more than anything and others find it invasive and unpleasant. She had inferred that I didn't respect the girls who like to be photographed I guess or saw it as a sign of desperation. There's nothing wrong with enjoying having your photo taken. Everybody likes attention and feeling pretty on some level. I don't want to to make you feel self conscious. I just think you are pretty and want to be nice to you. Here are photos I took of girls at shows.
