Go Get Your Shinebox and Listen to a New Song from Blacklist Royals

The Nashville punk greasers have a new album out soon. Listen to the first single, "Righteous Child."

To quote Ray Liotta’s character in Goodfellas, Blacklist Royals are “real greaseball shit.” The band is from Nashville but could easily hail from New Jersey or East New York in the 60s, with their slicked back greaser hairdos, Ray Bans, and faded denim jackets. Plus their songs about black leather jackets and their videos featuring ladies in classic American cars only blur the line between modern punk band and gang of 1960s street toughs. These dudes are a throwback, for sure.

Their new song, “Righteous Child” features the band’s classic rock ’n’ roll sound with just the right amount of a gravelly punk edge. The song is the first single off of Blacklist Royals’ forthcoming album Die Young With Me, which won’t be out until early next year but they’re also pressing the song on a sweet pink 7” out on November 12 which you can pre-order here. Stream it below and catch these loveable greaseballs on tour with Swingin’ Utters. Now go get ya fuckin’ shinebox.
