Broadway Sounds Show Us Something Sensual With Their Latest Video

THUMP Premiere Of Broadway Sounds' "Something Sensual" Video.

Broadway Sounds make music to dance and music to think. And, most importantly, music to feel. So appropriately their latest jam is titled "Something Sensual". The song contains everything we love from Melbourne group; a touch of soul, R&B, funk, electronic, boogie, and beats. To listen is to surrender to an uplifting kaleidoscopic pop experience, and THUMP is proud to premiere the mind-expanding video above. No one is in a better position to explain this sensual experience than Broadway Sound's founding member Andrew Phillips.

THUMP: Congratulations on another brilliant video. What does it all mean?
Andrew:The song's lyrics reflect and protest conservatism and conventionality. It's a stab at society's killjoys and the backwards mentality of the current political climate. It's somewhat confused & unapologetically cynical and all of this wouldn't make for a great video clip, so thankfully when our director Tobias Willis heard the song he had the idea of tying together all the things that are 'sensual' in life, from holidays, intimacy, exercising and self improvement through to resorts, star signs, exotic locations, tarot readings, colourful non-alcoholic drinks.

We recognise some friendly faces from your brilliant "Booby Trap" video.
Having many of the cast from the "Booby Trap" clip return for this video very much appealed to us. Nick Mulhall is in the band, and Aisha, Candy and Sashi are close friends. They're all individuals who are forward thinking and do not represent conservatism in any way, hence why they are there. Ironically, putting my parents in the clip was meant to toy with the notion of conservatism, as often enough that's what parents represent, a couple of squares. Once they had a few wines we had a wealth of footage, and they showed me that you're never too old to do the conga line.

Anything else we should know?
It's an homage to Frank and Estelle Constanza.
