Dashon Goldson on Being Labeled a Headhunter

Pain-inducing safety Dashon Goldson has always been known for his aggressive play, often times being referred to as a headhunter by fellow NFL players.

Tampa Bay Bucs safety Dashon Goldson has always been known for his aggressive play, at times being referred to as a headhunter by fellow NFL players. In 2013, he was famously slapped with a $100,000 fine for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Saints running back Darren Sproles. And since 2010, the former Washington Husky has drawn more personal fouls than any other player in the NFL.

One of Goldson's most vocal critics amongst his peers has been star quarterback Drew Brees, who last season claimed Goldson had "no regard for the middle of the field." The comments were unwelcome and not appreciated.

VICE Sports recently sat down with Goldson to discuss the existing negative perception, how it might not be entirely accurate or fair, and what the hell he's doing owning a cigar bar.
