French electro-pop/-rock producer Joakim is one of the principles behind Paris’ generally fantastic Tigersushi label, sporting a tight little stable of crossover -friendly, wicked smart artists like Poni Hoax, Sir Alice, Principles of Geometry, and, for one album at least, Optimo. It’s all stuff that, in a more fair world, would be headlining, or at least headlining the dance tents at, big American festivals. Spotify it if you need to.
