Trip Out to Mount Kimbie's New "Four Years and One Day" Video

A propulsive instrumental and inventive visuals meet for a touching meditation on the passage of time.

London's Mount Kimbie recently released their third album, the very-good-indeed Love What Survives. And today they've shared a music video for that project's first track "Four Years and One Day."

In signature Kimbie style it's trippy as fuck. Director Duncan Loudon uses "experimental footage of the band, performing using a 360 degree video camera" alongside his own personal footage and images to create something as unique as the band deserves. Time passing is the big theme here, and, though wordlessly, the visuals and the music work together to create something pretty touching. I might even be having a feeling. Watch it above.
