UEFA put together a short little documentary on the Champions League anthem that's worth checking out.Yesterday, a Google computer defeated Lee Sedol, the best Go player in the world, in the first of 5 matches. Go, for the uninitiated, is a 2-v-2 board game in which players compete for territory on a 19-by-19 grid by placing stones, one-by-one. The rules are simple, but the game is exceedingly complicated. Just a few years ago, the consensus was that machines wouldn't be able to beat top humans for another couple decades. That Google's machine beat Sedol is an amazing technological feat.
