Milk Teeth Are Time Wasting and Loving It in Their New Video for "Brain Food"

This way for lyrics about millennial problems, like living with your parents and being so deeply unemployed that your friends buy you coffee just to get you out of the house.

Just like Kylo Ren or your mum that time she found out about the raging house party you threw while she was on holiday, Milk Teeth are a force to be reckoned with. After two years of consistent touring and two blistering EPs under their belt, the Bristol four-piece are kicking off 2016 by releasing their debut album Vile Child – which is produced by Neil Kennedy (Creeper and More Than Life). We're premiering the video for their new track "Brain Food" below.

The track is characteristic of precisely why Milk Teeth slay – lyrics about millennial problems (like living with your parents and being so deeply unemployed that your friends buy you coffee just to get you out of the house); loaded with riffs, and a rage that's wild with youthful abandon but never naive. The video is, appropriately, filmed at home, and in it you'll see the band in all too familiar poses such as looking miserable next to a pizza box and sitting on the toilet. But it's also really fun and uplifting! Honest.

Of the new material, bassist and vocalist Becky Blomfield explains, "with Vile Child we didn't set out with any grand idea, we just wanted to make something that crossed over - this record encompasses everything we do well as a band."

Vile Child comes out January 29 via Hopeless Records.
