I caught Against Me, Touche Amore and Front Bottoms at Red 7 Patio on the night of March 12th (more on that in my wrap-up), and while enjoying a cold one, I saw an old friend who lives three states away come into the venue. Naturally, I gravitated toward him and offered to buy him a drink. He couldn't speak, as he was an eyewitness to the atrocities that unfolded that night outside of the famed venue The Mohawk on Red River. He delivered the story to me first hand, and this usually happy-go-lucky and energetic guy was white as a sheet. This is how I found out, first hand and in horrid detail.Noisey is sad to hear of what happened that night outside of Mohawk, and encourage you to give and give hard to either the SXSW Cares fund and/or The Blood Center of Central Texas.
