PREMIERE: Let The Growlers Set You Up with a Greasy SoCal Beach Goth in the Video for "Love Test"

Do you want The Growlers to set you up with a greasy SoCal beach goth? Well, all you have to do is pass their "love test" and that sun-burnt hipster is all yours. The band's new video for the psychaelic surf-rock single "Love Test" combines the elements of a classic television dating game with the red-lit haze of an after-hours Chinese lounge. Is this how beach goths find love? Because I'm sort of scared, but also curious, and I think that's the point. Chinese Fountain is the fifth full-length album from The Growlers that came out last September via Everloving Records. Vocalist Brooks Neilsen had this to say about the record: "The band played better than they’ve ever played. We’ve got the process down now. There’s less screwing around to get the songs laid out and we weren’t waiting around for take after take. We knew it and we played without much time to spare.”
