Hey, Justin Timberlake Put A New Song Out For Real This Time!

...Too bad it's underwhelming.

Above is a screencap of an open letter posted on Justin Timberlake's website, which you're gonna have to go to in order to hear his new song entitled "Suit & Tie." It comes on the heels of him teasing the fuck out of his new music, and given the build-up, it seems kind of underwhelming. Despite the presence of Jay-Z, it kind of feels like something that should be relegated to an album cut rather than a "Hey, fuck you, I'm back and I can do music better than literally anyone," which is what "SexyBack" felt like back in the day.

This is the third disappointing comeback statement from major music icons since Friday. First, Destiny's Child returned with a "Think"-sampling, potential-global-market hitting "Nuclear," which was kind of super-duper-duper boring. Then OutKast half-assed a reunion when Big Boi added another verse in the middle of Frank Ocean's "Pink Matter," a reunion on account of a technicality but nothing more.

So, uhm, when is a pop star going to overwhelm us again? Or shit, even whelm us? This is why we need K-Pop more than ever.
