Why do we do anything? What is the driving force that makes us exit the comfort of our bed every morning in order to make another attempt at living life? Why do we care? The easiest answer to this question might be the one proposed by Talvi and Josh of Prince Innocence on their newest song, simply titled "I Don't Care." According to Talvi, who provides the vocals on the song, “this song marks not only a change in our style, but attempts to depict the quiet struggle of a year we spent negotiating with a label we didn't end up signing with. We almost called it "Anhedonia" which is the inability to experience pleasure from activities usually found enjoyable, but "I Don't Care" had such a good blase ring to it."
