From the opening bars of the Time Management EP it becomes apparent that Yvette is on some other shit. With an unflappable noise attack not that far-removed from Suicide or Child Abuse and an opening burner that is eerily similar and with all of the venom of Yvette is here to remind you that post-punk can be pretty damn vicious.But also melodic. The four tracks that make up Yvette’s new offering illustrate this complex juxtaposition, combining subtle melodies with more focused multi-part vocals before moving into punishing squalls of noise.
