Much like the older gentleman smashing a tire with a sledgehammer on the cover, Sydney’s Yes, I’m Leaving punch you right in the mouth from the start with their album’s opening primal scream/dry heave. And after that uppercut, they continue to work your body over with an onslaught of endless noise rock jabs. Boxing metaphors and old-guys-going-to-town-on-tires aside, Yes, I’m Leaving do everything in their power to keep you on edge at all times. Bad for your anxiety, good for your penchant for raucous catharsis and band names that are also sentences.Yes, I’m Leaving’s new album, Mission Bulb, came was released in Australia this year and is just starting to creep into the U.S. Check out the album’s opening song, "Endless Mind," below.
