World’s Scariest Police Chases Came Up with the Greatest Name for a Punk Album Ever

They're also asking the age old question: What if God was a gay dude?

Either World’s Scariest Police Chases are trying to be funny or they are looking for attention. If it’s the former, they’re succeeding and if it’s the latter, we’re begrudgingly giving it to them.

For starters, their album title is so baitingly wonderful: NOFX…and out come the wolves dookie. That is the actual thing they named their album. Paired with a matching album cover, the whole thing is hilariously weird and bound to bewilder the easily confused punk kids out there (and there are many). Then the songs themselves are so refreshingly stupid while still making a point. Even the titles like “Americunt,” “Fuck You Dad” and the poke at Gorilla Biscuits, “Start (Fucking Yourself) Today,” get a chuckle.

In “Gay Jesus For President,” World’s Scariest Police Chases take the premise of Joan Osborne’s “What If God Was One Of Us” and substitute “one of us” with “a gay dude” and the result is a giant middle finger to religion.

NOFX…and out come the wolves dookie (God, that is still funny to type) is out on on November 12 from A-F Records and it combines Fat Mike's penchant for dick and fart jokes with Good Clean Fun’s love of good-humored hardcore. They are playing a few dates soon:

10/30 – New World Brewery (PRE-FEST) – Ybor City, FL
10/31 – 1982 (FEST 12) Gainesville, FL
11/09 – Asbury Lanes w/ Anti-Flag, Masked Intruder, The Holy Mess – Asbury Park, NJ
11/10 – The Murder Room w/ Red City Radio – Pittsburgh, PA
