Well, Here's This: The 10 Best (and Worst) Goat Music Video Mashups
YouTube trends are hard to understand. Currently, the whole is losing their shit at goats. And not just because of their people-screams (the video of which will haunt us forever), but because more and more often, people are splicing these goat shrieks into pop songs. Why? Because the Internet, that's why.
Though we're completely confounded by it, it's clear that screaming goats are all the rage. That's why we've compiled the ten best (and worst) goat video mashups and rated them. You did this to yourselves.
Okay, this is really, top-shelf. First of all, "Living On A Prayer" is one of the best Bon Jovi songs ever. Second, the goat fits in here a little too perfectly. If you weren't watching the video, you might even think this was the original version of the song. No wonder this Goat Edition video has collected more than 200,000 views in three days.
Goat Points: 9/10
This is the Goat Edition music video that started it all, so of course we have to give it a perfect score. Thank you for this, Taylor. And thanks to the creative/deranged people who thought this would be a good idea in the first place.
Goat Points: 10/10
As big Taio Cruz fans, we find this mashup blasphemous and not even remotely funny...
We're fucking with you. We hate Taio Cruz, and this Goat Edition is the only tolerable version of this song. The only thing that would make it better would be if you cut out Taio completely.
Goat Points: 6/10
The video quality is pretty disappointing and the goat just doesn't fit well . Bad idea.
Goat Points: 1/10
When you have a category in which Taylor Swift has achieved a perfect score, Miley Cyrus can't be too far away. Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus are like two sides of the same coin. Yin and Yang. Peanut butter and chocolate. Blonde goat, black sheep.
Sheep Points: 10/10
The two top comments on this video are "This was fucking crap" and "The first edition NOT funny goat." We agree. Plus, now we have Linkin Park stuck in our heads all day. Not okay.
Goat Points: 0/10
This goat is so close to the original and yet so subtly revealed, it makes us wonder if it was actually in the studio during the recording of "She will be Loved."
Goat Points: 8/10
Amazing, especially because it features in all of the top goat guns.
Goat Points: 10/10
YEAHHHHH. Who knew rap plus goats would be such a stellar combination?? This gruff goat and the Grand Master of American Rap fit together so well, maybe Yeezy should consider giving him a guest spot.
Goat Points: 8/10
Wait a minute. Which part is the original and which part is the Goat Edition?
Goat Points: 5/10 (4 of them bonus points for the "Yeah" sheep)
