Watch The Body's Brutal New Video, "The Ebb and Flow of Tides in a Sea of Ash"

If you're predisposed towards muscular, nihilistic metal and forensic photography, this video is for you.

I'm from Providence, so I'm automatically predisposed to rep anything from that city as hard as humanly possible. I'm also automatically predisposed towards gnarly, screechy metal and forensic photography, so when the Body (a brutal metal duo from Providence who currently reside in Portland) sent us their new video, I jumped on it like a wild rabid dog.

The track is called "The Ebb and Flow of Tides in a Sea of Ash," and it follows the same muscular, nihilistic sludge that the duo has been exploring on their last few full-lengths. The video is composed of found (?) footage of a horrifying crime scene investigation, following county sheriffs as they explore the scene of a mass suicide. Fun stuff.

The track is featured on the band's new twelve-inch EP, Master, We Perish. The record comes out through At A Loss Recordings on April 30, but you should probably pre-order it by clicking right here.
