Watch Mod Sun's Video for "Howlin' at the Moon"

Let's go to a magical party Narnia, you guys!

Mod Sun has been in music since the dawn of forever, first as the drummer in the post-hardcore band Four Letter Lie, and then as a posi-core rapper who leans hippie and joins Lil B, 2pac, and Chance the Rapper in the realm of rappers who rock nose rings. He sort of reminds me of Blake from Workaholics, but if he were super confident and also rapped, which is a pretty chill vibe in my book. On March 10, he'll release Look Up, his official debut album, on Rostrum Records. It features MGK, Travis Barker, G-Eazy, and some dude named Riff Raff.

Above, watch his video for "Howlin' at the Moon," which features fast-ass party-rapping from Mod and an absolute monster hook, the sort of thing you can imagine filling an entire stadium. The video is a casually psychedelic affair, with Mod playing the galavanting party vagabond before coming to in a bodega and walking through an enchanged freezer door into a Narnia ballroom looking thingy.

Mod Sun is currently on tour (dates here) and has a show in New York this Saturday at Webster Hall. If you fuxwit the video, pre-order Look Up here.
