Watch Cash+David's Video for "Bones"

Tipped London duo drop their third video: a cinematic vision of bodies coming together and falling apart.

As a duo Cash+David are still newbies in the world and this is only their third ever. Thus far each song shows off a distinct facet of their nascent sound. For instance, "Funn" is built on manipulated female vocals (think Polica meets Imogen Heap) and a fuzzily distorted guitar line. Second release "Pulse" is more dancefloor appropriate with Liz Lawrence's tones (she goes by the name David for this project) gliding unadorned over a backdrop of beat clatters and claps and elastic basslines (thanks to Tim Ross, also known as Cash). "Pulse" also hit number one on the Hype Machine (remember Hype Machine?). Which brings us to "Bones," premiering above. Interestingly, once you know about Lawrence's folk background—they met when Ross produced her pared back debut album when she was just 19—it's easy to imagine her melodies in an entirely acoustic setting. But here acoustic guitars are paired with synths and canned beats and the effect is modern and sleek.

Visually each video hangs on the beauty the human body in movement and "Bones" is no different: bodies move in slo-mo, coming together and falling apart, in dance or battle or possibly in a move to comfort. Whichever way you look at it, it's beautiful.
