Afterward, we sit down with the directors of a new Noisey documentary about Compton to talk about the rise and lasting influence of Los Angeles hip-hop. Compton's having a banner month, what with the just-released N.W.A documentary Straight Outta Compton garnering renewed interest in the history of the scene, and Dr. Dre's surprise album Compton leveraging the city's past with its possible future. Morning types can tune in right here Sunday, August 16th, at 10 AM EST / 7 AM PST, while the rest of us check in at 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST.
