The thing that people tend to forget about Vampire Weekend is that they rule. Their first album was great, their sophomore was greater, and I can only assume their junior will be even meaner. Last night, they took the stage of Jimmy Kimmell Live and performed a new track entitled "Unbelievers," which was amazing (of course). They wore skeleton facepaint and didn't say shit, which is hilarious and the exact sort of joke that should be obvious that the VW bros can deliver with a complete sense of dryness. They even got the audience to clap along, which I want to believe was extemporaneous but given the pre-planned nature of playing late night TV probably wasn't. Also, one time I got kicked out of a Vampire Weekend concert in college (sorry mom), but that's neither here nor there. Anyways, here's the video.
