Uniform Will Drag You Into the Dark with "Buyer's Remorse"

Hardcore and noise in one perfect and disgusting marriage.

Uniform is a nihilistic noise band out of Brooklyn that will rip you to pieces, and leave you lying in a hardcore-inflected wake. They're composed of Ben Greenberg (Pygmy Shrews, ex-The Men, Hubble) and Michael Berdan (ex-Veins, ex-Drunkdriver) They've described their music as "the soundtrack for our society's collective nervous breakdown," which is a fair assessment if you listen to any of their songs. The live show is fucking intense; Uniform is brutal, confrontational, and with infinitely more rhythm than msot of these dorks sitting behind their computers.

This new song "Buyer's Remorse" is a crushing intro to what they're all about. The first half of the track is all noisy hardcore, as good or better than any other in the scene, before heading toward the second half and where it all drops. No breakdown or flashy bridge. Just a wall of noise and screaming, the soundtrack to being abducted or dismembered.

Check out the song below, and read our interview with them right here. Don't forget to pick up the record from 12XU.
