Get Amped with Twin River's New Track "Bend To Break"

TKTK

As most of the world knows, there was recently a "deadly, life threatening" blizzard that was said to hit NYC, that—in the city—ended up not really being anything more than a snowfall of a few inches. But because of this, New Yorkers stayed indoors, most of them drinking because work was canceled. This meant a lot of laying down. This also meant a lot of listening to music that amped me up with nowhere to go, leaving me running in place. One such song that made me feel this way is Twin River's "Bend To Break," which Noisey is premiering below. Twin River puts a shimmery high-fi layer on top of what most garage bands attempt to create and fail largely at. Borrowing surf hooks and vocals that sometimes touch on a Those Darlins vibe, Twin River knows how to balance guitar rock with glistening pop songwriting. Keep an eye out for their debut record Should The Light Go Out, on February 17.
