ToyGuitar is a supergroup of sorts, featuring members of One Man Army, Dead to Me, and Swingin’ Utters. They’ve got an album out later this month via Fat Wreck Chords and for something that seemed to have started out as a side project, this is shaping up to be a solid release if this single, “Human Hyenas” is an indicator. Perfect lo-fi catchiness with muffled vocals, crunchy distortion, and punctuated by just enough “oooh ooohs” and “aaah aaahs” (those are technical musicality terms, by the way) to get stuck in your head for the rest of the day.Check out the song below and catch them on tour.
