Australian Synth Rock Gods Total Control Return to America

The Melbourne-based band is coming back to the Land of the Free.

Australia’s Total Control have released two amazing records back to back. They supported their monumental Henge Beat debut with several tours, but none since their year-end topping Typical System. Total Control's hometown of Melborune is well-known for their long-standing weirdo punk/garage scene (Eddy Current Supression Ring, HELLO?), and this band is the downer synth pop embodiment of that city. The powerhouse group features members of other great Melbourne bands like The UV Race and Straightjacket Nation, and is led by the prolific Daniel Distort. The band has steadily evolved from their earlier stripped down punk days (we first saw them play The Acheron in 2010), and somehow kills it harder and harder every time.
