NYC street metal maniacs Throaat have a new EP, Black Speed, coming out on Invictus Productions real soon, and it's a must-have for anyone with an unholy appreciation for Motorhead, early Bathory, Mortuary Drape, Abigail, and, obviously, Venom. Our buddies at No Clean Singing are streaming it in full right now (go check it out, seriously—it rules, especially their "In League With Satan" cover), but I managed to cajole the guys into giving us something special to share with y'all today ahead of their upcoming tour with Greek black metal gods Zemial.

Recorded live at a show in Brooklyn last month, this previously unreleased ode to Cronos and the lads called "The Bells of Newcastle Upon Tyne" will appear on a full-length release from the band later this year. It's raw, rough, and spooky—you're welcome!

Throaat will soon be venturing forth from the five boroughs on their longest jaunt yet, supporting the mighty Zemial on a border-spanning run through the Northeastern United States, Eastern Canada, and a quick bop around the Midwest. Catch 'em if you can!
