This Is the Best Drake-Inspired Hardcore Shirt Ever

Perfect for your next all-ages rap matinee at your local rec center.

As a blogger, sometimes I see an item of music-inspired clothing that's so amazingly amazing that I have to blog about it. This hardcore-inspired Drake shirt is definitely one of them. The shirt was designed by Nicholas Lambert, who told me in an email, "I designed the shirt for fun at work since I listen to quite a bit of Drake and had some free time. I thought I'd just screen print one for myself since his merch didn't really fit my style as a dude who's mainly into punk and hardcore." Lambert told me his favorite Drake songs are "Too Much" and "Come Through."

Indeed, the shirts draw from the font that pretty much every hardcore shirt from a band in the early '90s used for their merch, with a repurposed line from "All Me" which sounds a hell of a lot like a self-reliant punk rallying cry. Top it off with the crowd shot, which finds Drake black and looking like he's ready to cannonball into the pit, and goddamn if the shirt isn't nearly perfect.

I asked Lambert what the most xDrakex-core hardcore band is, and he said, "Maybe something more hip-hop feeling, like anything from the dudes in Deez Nuts."

The shirts will be for sale for the rest of the day, so cop one and wear it to your next all-ages rap matinee at the local rec center.
