Firstly, infinite ROFL that Tesfaye has managed to take both a sample and lyric from The Smiths' sad-faced unrequited love anthem, “Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want”, and turned it into a sweetboy track which is essentially about fucking. Though "Enemy" is apparently just a bonus track for the fans and has nothing to do with the remastered version of Trilogy shortly being released, (yeah, most confusing re-release of the year, right?) So there's no straying off The Weeknd's tried and tested path here, just the standard not leaving a dry seat in the house approach to song making. The production is characteristically stripped back, all rumbling bass, some tinkling piano and the occasional electric guitar pluck. Meanwhile Tesfaye croons stuff like, "I wanna looooose myself between your legs." OK mate, maybe buy me a drink first.
