Riot Fest: Chicago day 2's wide-ranging, ambitious scheduling paid off.

For over ten years, Riot Fest has brought an eclectic mix of punk rock, emo, ska, metal, and rockabilly acts to Chicago (and more recently, Denver and Toronto) for an end of summer musical blowout. The second night of the festival upped the ante on the first, bridging genres and generations with devilish glee as Drive Like Jehu, the Lawrence Arms, Lifetime, Rancid, GWAR, Iggy Pop, Merle Haggard, and many more shared stages to the amusement of the mohawked masses.
