The New Coral Cross Video for "With A Lancet" Is a Jawdropping Work of Art

Member of Lansing-Dreiden and Violens, and collaborator with Ariel Pink & Caroline Polachek drops a video that you just have to see.

Following collaborations with Ariel Pink and Caroline Polachek (A/B-side), as well as his own involvement in projects like Lansing-Dreiden, Violens and others, Jorge Elbrecht is back with the debut release from a new project, Coral Cross. Self-described as "choral thrash," Coral Cross uses tremolo picking with cathedral style chorus underneath, with the result being somewhere in the shoegaze realm. No, this is nothing like an Alcest or Deafheaven except maybe on paper. Check out the jaw dropping video for "With a Lancet" for yourself above. Badass.

If you're watching this video and your mind is as blown as ours, you might want to catch Coral Cross's multimedia performance at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn next week. Free and open to the public, details of the event are in the flyer below.

Coral Cross's debut 7" is out now via Mexican Summer in the US and hits EU shores on 9/1. Order yours.
