Tei Shi Streams Her New EP 'Verde' and Yup, It's Amazing

Last week Brooklyn-based solo star Tei Shi dropped "Go Slow" off her forthcoming EP, Verde, and now she's letting us stream the whole damn thing below. Like her debut 2013 EP, Saudade, this collection is poised and gorgeous, but it's infinitely more POP, as evidenced by songs like the 80s synth-pulsed "Bassically." "See Me" is definitely a on of the record's standouts. Hooked on a simple bassline, her mellifluous exhalations and a smattering of clicks and clacks, it's stripped and langurous like an unhurried make out session. Meanwhile "Get It" is a R&B slow jam Solange would salivate over. Look, listen, love and go see her live later this year.
