Can Swervedriver Avoid the "Setting Sun" On Reunions With Their New Single and LP?

The new album, their first in 17 years, in March and you can stream their newest single now.

Reunions are a dicey proposition and get even more complicated once the band goes back to recapture some of that early magic with a new album. The ones that work out almost always include a highly active core member or members, much like Adam Franklin. Carcass pulled it off possibly due to their activity after the band, My Bloody Valentine less so, and now six years after their initial reunion, UK shoegaze band Swervedriver is entering the fold with their new LP I Wasn’t Born To Lose You due on March 3rd. We got a taste of the reunited band with their single "Deep Wound" which hit last year, but now you can get hyped for the album with another new track "Setting Sun" streaming below. Look for both on the new LP.
