Languish in Your Feelings with Speakerfoxxx's New Mix 'Skin II : The Art of Letting Go'

Atlanta DJ Speakerfoxxx is known for being at the bleeding edge of all the great music coming out of her home city, and, given that that city puts out all the greatest music, that's a good thing to be known for. But that's not what we're talking about here. We're talking about love, heartbreak, the art of letting go. A few years ago, Speakerfoxxx shared a mix on Noisey called Skin, a sultry, R&B-heavy collection full of love songs that was a departure from the turning up she usually curates. Now she has a follow-up: Skin II: The Art of Letting Go. It takes an electronic and R&B focus, with a few rap staples (Common! Kanye! Gucci Mane!) to mix it up. It's a good companion piece to the original: What happens after the love songs end? Contrary to popular belief, one of the most soothing parts of letting go can be reflecting on the love itself.
