Sauce Walka and K. Camp's "A Bag" Video Will Change the Way You Turn up in Your Kitchen Forever

The madcap Houston rapper links with one of Atlanta's most reliable new hitmakers for what deserves to be a sleeper hit of the summer.

Houston's Sauce Twinz have quickly risen to the forefront of their city's scene by being roughly a million times more turnt up than almost every other rap group alive, and Sauce Walka is arguably the more energetic of the pair. Meanwhile, Atlanta's K. Camp has become one of the city's most reliable new hitmakers, putting his strength behind several of the last year's biggest and best rap hits, sometimes, as on Snootie Wild's "Made Me," simply as a featured artist. So a collaboration between Sauce Walka and K. Camp is understandably a formula for some crazy shit.

Despite his ability to craft smooth, melodic hooks, K. Camp takes the backseat to Sauce Walka on "A Bag," rapping one verse and leaving the hook to Sauce Walka's unhinged, gravelly drawl. It turns out to be a wise decision, since Sauce Walka sounds like he's never been more thrilled to do anything in his life than to go get himself a bag and fill it up with cash. K. Camp's verse shows an agility ("splash, splash, splash, splash / drip, drip, drip, drip / nine milli on my hip") that casual listeners might be surprised to hear, but really this is Sauce Walka's show. He takes full advantage of it, cavorting all over the beat—and the kitchen counters of the video set—and letting his Houston-tinged growl fill in the spaces of the song. This is a debauched celebration, and you'd be wise to join in and let the spirit of their joint turn up flow through you.

The video, directed by the Stupid Geniuses, is simple but worth mentioning for some dope tracking shots, particularly of dudes rolling around on scooters. It's very 2015, which is appropriate since this song deserves to be a sleeper hit for the summer. Check out the video and some behind the scenes photos from the shoot below:
