Raptors Invite Dads to Embarrass Themselves with Drake's "Hotline Bling" Box

It's Drake Night at the Raptors game tonight. There will be bad dancing.

The Toronto Raptors are having a special Drake Night for tonight's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. As part of the festivities, they've constructed a color-changing booth for fans to dance in just like Drake does in his "Hotline Bling" video. Dads will almost certainly embarrass themselves and their progeny should they go in. But don't take my word for it, just look at Toronto city councilor Norm Kelly cowabungling his way through the song and dance routine with the Raptors mascot.

Now, Norm is a big Drake fan; you might remember him gaining some prominence during the Great Drake-Meek Mill Feud of July. Norm backed his hometown guy and has been a vocal supporter ever since.

So it makes sense that Norm is the first dad to embarrass himself in this thing, though not for a lack of effort.

"I made sure I reviewed the video a couple of times to at least try and capture the essence of his dance style," a still-grooving Kelly told CP24's Lindsey Deluce after showing off his moves.

Norm, who is 74 years old, also speculated on the meaning of the song: "It's a call, it's a phone call. That's my understanding."
