The Proselyte is the latest addition to Gypsyblood, the label started by members of The Atlas Moth, Cleanteeth and Ascent of Everest. The Cambridge, MA band, which contains members of Phantom Glue, toil in a riffy, sludge-dipped post-hardcore much like PG, yet focus their energies on melodic vocals. Don't worry, the shit is still muscular and beefy as all hell, as exhibited by the first track to slip out from the band's forthcoming EP Our Vessel's In Need.
