The Microdance's Video for "Making Plans For The End" Is Gloomy, Campy Fun

What could be better than campy movies and gazey-rock?

Who doesn't love some good old fashioned camp? You can kick back on the couch, turn on the public access channel, and watch a town of mummies come back to life. It's relaxing and hilarious, whether you've got the company of a guy and three robots like Mystery Science Theater 3000, or you're just lonewolfing it. To show you some very fun, goofy camp, The Microdance have paired together their track "Making Plans For The End" with the best bad movie you've never seen.

The Microdance is a four-piece rock band from London that play music that dips in and out of every kind of subgenre you dig. The video for "Making Plans For The End" is, well, intentionally goofy, but the music is a serious affair that won't leave your music library any time soon. The band combines the texture of shoegaze and fuzzy effects with the straight up power of yell along alt-rock, up to the power of new-wave. It's all packaged seamlessly, not sounding like any other band making music. What The Microdance does is totally spellbinding, and the video proves their tunes go with everything. What could be better than that?
