Since 2002, Rogue Wave has been making songs that quickly become indie rock staples. Their music has been in everything from Napoleon Dynamite and the OC to Spiderman 3 and Iron Man 3. It's defined an era of indie rock, but it's also help them coast into a new era.

Rogue Wave, after a three year hiatus, is back with their sixth studio album, Delusions of Grand Fur. dropping on April 29. Today we’re premiering a track off that album, "California Bride." It’s a somber yet poppy track, with something very Lana Del Rey about it. "California Bride" proves that despite how long your band has been together, sometimes the spark never leaves.

"When I finished writing this song, I thought it was gonna sound like a kissing cousin to Tom Petty,” singer Zach Rogue says about the track. “Instead, it turned out sounding like his paranoid neighbor's fever dream."

Listen to their new track below, in a fancy "visualizer" format (it's not an official video, or a lyrics video, just a video with cool footage of San Francisco set to their latest track). You can pre-order Delusions of Grand Fur here.
