PREMIERE: Dance in Front of Your Bedroom Mirror to Party Nails' "No Pressure"

It's a fierce bit of pop that sounds kind of like if Carly Rae Jepsen fronted a New Wave band that made songs for John Hughes films.

Choosing a fitting band name can be tricky, but LA's Party Nails—the monkier of 25-year-old singer-songwriter Elana Belle Carroll—totally, well, nails it. Like the name implies, Carroll's music is all fun and 'tude, pure electro-pop goodness to soundtrack your Big Night Out preparations, or just an evening in feeling fancy.

The New York native released her debut track "Break" on WonderSound Records in September, and now she's back with "No Pressure." It's a fierce bit of pop that sounds kind of like if Carly Rae Jepsen fronted a New Wave band that made songs for John Hughes films.

"It's about being at a breaking point with someone but feeling doubtful of yourself," Carroll says of the tune. "It's a very in-the-moment representation of how your mind works when you're at your breaking point but don't want to let go."

Party Nails is planning to drop a debut EP in early 2016. Listen to "No Pressure" and check out the lyric vide below.
