To be clear we're talking a roster that includes the Black Lips, Homostupids, and UV Race.The A-side "Suzanne" is a nippy and buzzing burner that showcases the girl's sweet vocal harmonies backed by some tough guitar solos.We spoke to the girls about the new record.Noisey: Who is Suzanne? What kind of car has she got?Angie: Suzanne is an amalgamation of both of our mums, Susan and Anne. They're both legendary beauties and they also made us, so whats not to love!? Suzanne is one cool lady, she's independent, a romantic, and she doesn't take shit from anyone. She would definitely drive a nice car but it would probably be a bit old, a bit shit and a bit 'dinged' up. Even Suzanne can't be perfect:)Harriet: My mum Susan drives a Subaru Forrester and she's absolutely gorg.What do you think of your music described as 'bummer punk'? Hanging out with you and Angie you'd never feel bummed out. It's more "cheeky punk".Angie: I wouldn't even describe us as punk because we're just way too glamorous. We're like a groovy summer day where you don't have a care in the world. Just sipping on some nice lemonade, driving around town with the sun in your hair and not giving a care. Yeah baby yeah!Harriet: Yeah if we're bummer punk it's definitely an accident and we're sorry…. haha!You guys are like besties. But do you ever fight?Angie: We once had a crazy food fight when we lived together in a free mansion and threw parties every Saturday night. It was like a nightclub and we ended up throwing our dinner everywhere and pushing each other down the stairs! Just kidding! As if we'd ever have a fight, we're meant to be!Harriet: We've actually never had a fight…. ever?!? When we lived together we were having too much fun to fight. It was just like 'Yeaa, party at the gals house every nigh!' We went halves in bottles of perfume, combined our music collection etc, It was awesome. Ang is a hot bitch. x
