Everyone Can Audition to Sing in LP3 and The Tragedy's Staticy New Video for "Southland Hum"

The band, composed of children of Los Lobos members, make a groovy and wild introduction for themselves.

If you're around the wrong people, you may be under the lame thought process that you have to look a certain way to be the lead singer of a dope band. It's a really limiting way to look at things, totally ignoring a great deal of talent in the world. Which is why LP3 and The Tragedy's new video for "Southland Hum" is a heartwarming thing. The band is composed of Louie Perez III, son of Los Lobos guitarist Louie Perez II, and Ruby Ross daughter of Los Lobos' singer Cesar Ross, along with drummer Eric Fuller, guitarist Carlos Guzman and accordionist/organist Mike Berault.

The band is set on playing rock music filled with delicious hooks and satisfying riffing, introducing the world to what they're capable of with their debut album. Today they're premiering their new video for "Southland Hum," the title track to their upcoming record. It's a cool, low-quality recording of a bunch of random people trying out to be the band's new singer, rocking and rolling their way through the song's catchy grooves. It's a fun, strange video that perfectly capture's the track's rocky vibe.
