Atlanta's Lil Silk is one of those guys who seems to be on to something. Sometimes you can't quite tell what that something is (not all of us can seem to perenially exist on some insane weed/molly/lean/adderall combination, because some of us have jobs), but he's definitely onto it. When he's at his best, like on his new Mayhem and Spaghetti J-produced cut "Surfer" (featuring MACTurnUp), his madcap energy and creativity makes him seem like a being from an alternate universe. This is the sort of tune that is absolutely begging to be blasted in a very large room full of dudes doing spastic, jumpy interpretive rap hands to its lyrics while all of their girlfriends stand at the side of the room eyeing them with a combination of annoyance and amusement.Anyways, I'm so amped on this track going to go karate chop through some glass now.
