Isaac Lee-Kronick's Debut Track "Running Man" Is Bursting with Life

It's a tropical tinged fantasia that kind of feels like you're in a movie trailer of your own life, swirling around, hands aloft, as the city and memories stream down around you.

Life moves at a fast pace. One minute you're crouched in the backseat of your dad's car, innocently sipping juice through a plastic cup and all wide-eyed with excitement; the next, you're a grown up calculating exactly how much you'll earn after paying tax, wondering how you'll ever afford a mortgage. If there's one thing that gives the moments in our life context, tying them together in some sort of coherent thread, it's music. Which is where the debut track "Running Man," from North Londoner Isaac Lee-Kronick, steps in.

"The concept for Running Man came from a series of strange incidents sometime last year, which, if I was that way inclined might have seemed like an act of the supernatural kind," Isaac told Noisey over email, explaining the backstory behind the track. "I guess if I was being honest I would want whoever's listening to experience the track in the same way I experienced those events; in a state of kaleidoscopic confusion.”

He's not wrong. A fiercely confident debut, "Running Man" is a tropical tinged fantasia that kind of feels like you're in a movie trailer of your own life, swirling around, hands aloft, as the city and memories stream down around you. Listen below.
