PREMIERE: Dommengang Boogies All Over Your Face in the Video for "Her Blues"

A chug-fest of stadium-sized wasted magnitude from Brooklyn psych-heads Dommengang.

Just a few days ago, we unleashed "Two Lights," the "lead-footed kick in the ass" shredder from Brooklyn psych-rock brutes Ancient Sky, whose tasty slab of sludgy meat they call Mosaic arrives June 9 via Wharf Cat Records. Well, another wrecking crew cut from the same cloth (they share members with Ancient Sky) beat them to the punch.

This week, fellow Brooklyn heavyweights, Dommengang, just released "Everybody's Boogie," a chug-fest of stadium-sized wasteoid magnitude. 70's psych, stoner and blues-rawk converge for some serious ripping and baking. Led by Scout Niblett and Castanets crony Sig Wilson and featuring dudes from Holy Sons touring band, this track is all about rolling with the boogie. The eponymous barn-burning opener and "Extra Slim Boogie," leave no shortage of major boogie spewing action or mudrides through swampland blues.

In Dommengang's creepy woods-trolling video for "Her Blues," (co-directed by Jay Winebrenner, who also directed the video for Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks' "Cinnamon and Lesbians") the influential shadow of thug-riffers Endless Boogie looms largely over a slow-crawling jam, so crack open a beer, smoke'em if you got'em, and boogie your troubles away.

Everybody's Boogie is out now via Thrill Jockey and Dommengang celebrate its release at Union Pool in Brooklyn on 6/6 with Ancient Sky (record release show for Mosaic, Marisa Anderson and DJ Emil Amos (Holy Sons)
