Listen to Brick Squad-Affiliated Producer C4's New Track "Work that Dough" Featuring Young Thug and Peewee Longway
After putting in a lot of work for a lot of rappers (Gucci Mane, Juicy J, Rich Homie Quan, Migos, Rome Fortune), the 1017 Bricksquad-signed producer C4 will drop his own tape this week. The Don Cannon-hosted Decoded is a compilation of C4-produced tracks and some new tracks, including “Work that Dough” with Peewee Longway, and Young Thug. Thug continues to be one of the most compelling rappers out right now, and Longway is great as always, rapping like Young Thug on mood stabilizers.
2013 has been a great year for rap, but especially for rap producers in the South. Mike Will’s superstardom is the most obvious case, but you basically can’t get through an entire mixtape anymore without hearing some shit by the likes of Spinz, Metro, Dun Deal, Childish Major or, of course, C4. Decoded will be out later this week through Livemixtapes.
