Phil Anselmo Released a Video Apology for Racist Remarks

"It was ugly, it was uncalled for."

A few days ago, video surfaced online of Phil Anselmo at this year's Dimebash yelling "white power" at a crowd after his performance of classic Pantera track "Walk." This comment set the internet ablaze, eliciting responses from Machine Head's Robb Flynn, Every Time I Die's Keith Buckley, and more. Originally, Anselmo wrote a quick defense of his actions on the original uploaded video, and today he has made a longer video reply to the events that took place. He addresses the viewer, stating that he deserves all the heat he has been receiving, and that he is "extremely apologetic to anyone that took offense to what I said."
