I Guess Pharmakon is a Sultry Singer From The 60s All Of Sudden, Check Out Her Nancy Sinatra Cover

Not joking.

I will forever associate Nancy Sinatra's "Bang Bang" with Quentin Tarantino's revenge film duo Kill Bill, and the moment before David Carradine turns Uma Thurman's head inside out with a .357. Maybe that might change after today. Contrary to what you may think, Pharmakon (almost) plays it straight for her cover of the Nancy Sinatra classic, avoiding the screams and going straight for a clean and sultry vocal for the track. No post-industrial samples or washes of noise as the center of the track, just Margaret's vocal… and it's badass. Stream the track in full and look for it on the upcoming Record Store Day compilation Todo Muere, Vol. 4.
