Somehow shadowy, London-based electronocist Slime makes panpipes sound textural, wonky, and cool. Not like they're part of the soundtrack for some icky mating ritual between a bunch of dreadheads in burlap sack pants, on the top of Machu Picchu. How does he do it? By throwing in some sax, rolling beats, and shivery Japanese koto (wethinks). There's a an almost trip-hoppy groove to this soothing instrumental and if you're feeling it you can download his current mixtape, Welcome to the Brick House, here for free. This should tide us all over till the proper full length.
