Listen to Oscar's Lo-fi Pop Gem, "Be Good"

If it was playing at your local discount store, you'd start dancing your ass off, knocking over shelves of squirt guns.

If you live in the city, there’s that one shitty discount store you always go to. But you love it. Everything about it makes you feel safe; the owner that knows your name, the sneaking suspicion that a lot of the store’s stock may have potentially been stolen, and the overall atmosphere of it. But one of the best parts could be the music that buzzes out of 20 year old plasticy computer speakers. "Be Good," by Oscar, could be the music that makes you feel safe. Oscar Scheller, or just plain Oscar, is a dude from London that swirls together dancehall and lo-fi electronics. This song could definitely be the background music at some tucked away cutty-ass discount store in the heart of the city, or your favorite bar. Oscar’s voice is trapped between the shelves of bitcrushed drums and faint island themes. If this was playing while you were looking at super unsafe extension cords, you’d toss em down and start dancing your ass off, knocking over shelves of squirt guns. Check out the song below, and please try not to fuck up the item arrangements next time you need a lightbulb.
